The water level in the Musi Project has reached its maximum capacity. As a result, three gates were lifted to release water downstream. Currently, the water level is just below the project’s full tank level. With over 200 cusecs of water coming from upstream, the lifting of three crest gates has allowed the release of 330 cusecs of water downstream.

Energy Minister Jagdish Reddy instructed the release of water, and officials including DE Chandrasekhar, AEs Uday Kumar and Mamta, and irrigation staff were present during the process.
