The chairman of Aija Municipality in Gadwal is setting a unique example by regularly visiting the wards in the town. He has been doing this for the past four and a half years since being elected. Every morning, he takes a walk with the workforce through the different areas of the municipality.
During his recent visit to the 13th Ward Rangu peta and Santa Bazar areas, the chairman, Mr. G. Chinna Devanna, interacted with residents to understand their issues. Residents raised concerns about street lights, black connections, and sanitation, which he immediately instructed municipal staff to address.
Mr. Devanna assured residents of regular monitoring and follow-up to ensure that their issues are resolved efficiently. He encouraged them to report any future problems to the municipal authorities for quick action.
The chairman also responded promptly to concerns raised by residents about traffic issues near Sri Chaitanya School, removal of obstructive trees, a leaking black pipeline in front of Maddileti Swamy temple, and the dilapidated old library building. Plans were announced for repairing the library building and repurposing it for the municipality office.
These actions demonstrate the chairman’s commitment to addressing community concerns and infrastructure issues promptly for the benefit of residents in Ieeja Municipality of Jogulamba Gadwal District.
