In a recent IPL match, Shubman Gill scored a brilliant 129 runs off 60 balls, including seven fours and ten sixes, helping Gujarat Titans reach a whopping 233/3 in 20 overs. Despite this, Mumbai Indians lost the match by 62 runs, with Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma putting up some resistance. Mohit Sharma also played an impressive game, taking five wickets in just 2.2 overs.

After the match, Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma praised Gill’s performance and hoped that he would continue his good form in the future. He said that they wanted someone in their team to bat like Gill did. Gill himself said that the over in which he hit three sixes gave him momentum and that he had made some technical changes before the New Zealand series after the T20I World Cup.
