The Centre is working on improving rail connectivity for Telugu states, including Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The Ministry of Railways has approved the extension of four more trains at the request of Union Minister G Kishan Reddy. These trains will provide additional travel options and make services more accessible to passengers in the respective regions.
One of the extended trains will run from Kazipet to Hadapsar (Pune) from Secunderabad, providing direct and convenient night travel facilities for the people of Kazipet. Another train will travel from Shadnagar, Mahbubnagar, Gadwal, and Kurnool city to Jaipur, offering direct and convenient travel options for those residing in these areas. Similarly, a train service from Sedam, Chittapur, Yadgir, and Raichur (Karnataka) to Nanded will be available for the people in these regions. Additionally, the people of Bodhan will now have a direct train to Karimnagar and back.
These extended train services will cater to the needs of all segments of people, including reserved and unreserved travelers. They will consist of AC classes, sleeper classes, and second general class coaches. This will eliminate the need for passengers to change trains at the nearest junction and allow them to travel directly to their desired destinations.
