Devarakadra: Mahabubnagar Member of Parliament, D.K. Aruna, visited the Devarakadra railway gate on Tuesday. She promised to address the problems faced by the people, as the railway gate has been closed for many years. This has forced residents to travel over a kilometer to reach the other side of the railway line.
D.K. Aruna pointed out that even though a flyover was built over the railway line, locals still find it difficult to cross to the other side because the railway gate remains permanently locked. She announced plans to construct a railway underbridge to help the people who are currently divided by the railway line. “I will work with railway authorities to ensure that the underbridge is built as soon as possible,” she assured.
Local residents have been frustrated by the problems caused by the closed railway crossing. Many employees and laborers, who need to commute to government offices and other workplaces, are struggling with the extra travel distance.
After hearing about the plans for the underbridge, the people of Devarakadra are hopeful that their daily difficulties will soon come to an end.
