Nagarkurnool Member of Parliament, Dr. Mallu Ravi, has pledged to focus on improving the lives of the poor in his constituency.
He emphasized that his main goal is to ensure that the welfare schemes provided by the central and state governments reach every poor person in Nagarkurnool. On Sunday, he held a meeting at the district offices in Nagarkurnool to discuss these matters.
The meeting included various officials such as District Collector Badavath Santosh, local MLA Kuchukulla Rajesh Reddy, and senior officers from Nagarkurnool, Gadwal, and Wanaparthy.
Bank representatives and DCCB Chairman Vishnuvardhan Reddy were also present at the meeting. They discussed ways to make sure that government welfare programs are effectively implemented.
Dr. Mallu Ravi and MLA Kuchukulla Rajesh Reddy also talked about the upcoming awareness seminar.
This seminar, scheduled for the 22nd of this month, aims to educate citizens about various government welfare schemes. The seminar will particularly focus on helping unemployed youth understand the opportunities available through both Telangana state and central government programs.
The seminar will be held at Teja Convention Hall in Nagarkurnool town at 10 a.m. on October 22nd.
Senior officials from the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC), MSMEs, and different banks will be present. They will provide information about loans, subsidies, and other resources available to the public.
Dr. Mallu Ravi described the seminar as a model event.
He urged district officials to work together to ensure its success. District Collector Badavath Santosh highlighted that the seminar will help educate young people about loans and financial support, which can assist them in becoming self-reliant.
Nagarkurnool MLA Dr. Kuchukulla Rajesh Reddy noted that many final-year degree students are expected to attend.
He explained that the seminar will focus on self-employment opportunities for unemployed youth. He believes that this event will be an important milestone for students looking to build a successful career.
Several key figures will attend the seminar, including NSIC’s Zonal Officer for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, Srinivas, and Civil Society Organization Award NGO President, Venkat.
Other notable attendees will include Nagarkurnool DRDA officer Chinna Obulesu, DEO Govindarajulu, BC Welfare Officer Nazim Ali, SC Welfare Officer Ram Lal, DRDO Umadevi, and LDM Srinivasulu. Representatives from Canara Bank and the Telangana Association of SC/ST Enterprises will also participate, alongside officers from the BC, SC, ST, and Minority Welfare Departments of Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, and Gadwal districts.
