In Gadwal, Mallu Ravi, the Member of Parliament for Nagar Kurnool, has asked officials to speed up the completion of ongoing development projects in Jogulamba Gadwala district. In a meeting with various department heads at the IDOC conference hall, he highlighted the importance of finishing irrigation projects like Nettempadu to help local farmers. An additional Rs. 230 crores is needed for the Nettempadu project, and efforts are being made to secure this funding from the finance department.
Ravi promised to work hard to get the necessary approvals for the Nettempadu project. He stressed the importance of overcoming land acquisition challenges to move projects forward quickly. Ravi also called for a reliable electricity supply and emphasized the government’s focus on improving education, especially in government schools. He urged officials to efficiently deliver welfare schemes and complete projects within their departments.
The meeting included attendees like Zilla Parishad Chairperson Sarita, District Additional Collector Apoorva Chauhan, SE Srinivasa Rao from the Irrigation Department, District Education Department Officer Indira, SC Welfare Department Officer Swetha Priyadarshini, DM HO Dr. Sasikala, and other officials.
