Medak MP Raghunandan Rao Addresses Alleged Rave Party in Hyderabad

Medak MP Raghunandan Rao spoke on Sunday about reports of a rave party that allegedly took place late Saturday night at a farmhouse near Hyderabad. He claimed that children of VIPs were present at the party. During a press conference in Gajwel, the MP criticized the State government for claiming that Telangana is drug-free, while illegal activities such as rave parties and drug trades are reportedly happening over the weekends.

Rao raised concerns about drugs, including cocaine, being smuggled into Hyderabad from other countries. He questioned the government’s efforts to control drug use and smuggling in the state.

The MP demanded that if Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy is not involved with the owner of the Janwada farmhouse where the party allegedly occurred, then Director General of Police (DGP) Jitender should release the CCTV footage from the location. He emphasized that the footage, both from inside and outside the farmhouse, should be made public, especially from the time when the Special Operations Team (SOT) police raided the site.

Raghunandan Rao also claimed that the Chief Minister has not taken any action against the farmhouse in Janwada. He suggested that the CM and KTR may have reached a compromise on the issue. Rao stressed the importance of holding a press conference within the next 12 hours, warning that any delay could lead to the CCTV footage being tampered with.

The MP urged the government to clarify the situation to the public. He stated that if the Chief Minister is not involved in any wrongdoing, it should be openly communicated what exactly transpired at the farmhouse on Saturday night.
