Hyderabad: National BJP general secretary and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar claimed on Thursday that TPCC president A Revant Reddy and Health Minister T Harish Rao will be scapegoats in the game of BRS chief and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.
According to Kumar, it is incorrect that KCR had called Harish Rao and Minister KT Rama Rao for a discussion in Pragati Bhavan on party manifesto for the upcoming Assembly elections. He stated that both of them were actually fighting for the Chief Minister’s position and putting pressure on each other, right in front of the BRS chief.
Harish Rao claimed seats for himself, as he had participated in the separate statehood movement, and objected to them being given to KTR who came from the US. This situation is causing a headache for KCR, who is trying to broker peace between the two warring family members. The BRS chief has also been holding talks with the TPCC chief through intermediaries.
Kumar also alleged that the Congress has not yet finalized its list of candidates because the CM has not approved it yet. He further claimed that the BRS party is in a pitiable condition, resorting to hiring “adda coolies” and presenting party scarfs to showcase new joinings. Kumar believes that the BRS is conspiring to come back to power by forming a government with the support of the Congress and AIMIM.
The list of BJP candidates has already been sent to Delhi and will be announced as soon as it is finalized, according to Kumar.
