A celebration was held at Rashtrapati Nilayam in Bolarum to honor International Mother’s Day. Around 1,600 people from old age homes, orphanages, and bala sedans in Hyderabad, Rangareddy, and Medchal-Malkajgiri districts attended.

During the event, cultural programs such as singing and dancing were performed. Additionally, 20 elderly women were recognized for their contributions. Krishna Reddy, the welfare officer of Medchal-Malkajgiri, emphasized that Mother’s Day should be celebrated every day, not just once a year.
