In Nagarkurnool, the Election Expenditure Observer Saurab has instructed Excise Officers to focus on illegal liquor stocks during the election campaign. The directive was given during a meeting with Excise officials and District Collector Uday Kumar.

During the meeting, it was suggested that excise officers should work together to inspect bars and liquor shops. They should regularly check sales records and monitor sales after 10 pm to ensure compliance with election rules. Special measures should be taken, especially at border checkposts, to prevent illegal liquor sales.

Officials also emphasized the need for regular inspections and vigilance on liquor sales and transportation. District Excise Officer Gayatri and other officials were present at the meeting.
