On Monday, a ‘Telangana Run’ will take place at Necklace Roads in Hyderabad as part of the celebration of Telangana State’s 10-year anniversary. The run will start at 6 am and around 5,000 runners will participate in either a 2K or 4K run. The starting point will be the ground near Dr BR Ambedkar Statue.
Many departments have made large-scale arrangements for the successful conduct of this event. State Ministers, MLCs, MLAs, Corporators, the Chief Secretary, DGP and other senior officials of the State Government will also participate in this run. The police department will be overseeing this event and many employees from other departments such as education, sports, youth services, IT, municipal and others will also participate.
