    Modi to inaugurate projects worth Rs 15,718 crore

    Nine out of 17 candidates have been announced for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Telangana for two days, where he will address public meetings in Adilabad and Sangareddy.

    During his visit, Modi will inaugurate developmental projects totaling Rs 15,718 crore, bringing the total to Rs 24,000 crore in the last five months. Union Minister G Kishan Reddy expressed confidence that these projects will help the NDA government win more than six Lok Sabha seats in Telangana.

    On the first day of his visit, Modi will dedicate NTPC’s 800 MW unit of the Telangana Super Thermal Power Project. This project, based on Ultra-Supercritical Technology, will provide 85% of power to Telangana with a high power generation efficiency.

    In addition to the power projects, Modi will also inaugurate highways like the Adilabad-Bela section and Hyderabad-Bhupalapatnam highway, along with launching road and rail projects connecting Telangana with Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh.

    The second day of his visit to Sangareddy will see Modi inaugurating and laying the foundation stone for development projects worth over Rs 6,800 crore, covering road, rail, natural gas, and petroleum sectors. This includes the inauguration of NH projects like the four-laning of Kandi to Ramsanpalle national highway.

    Overall, Modi’s visit aims to showcase the commitment of the government towards development in Telangana through various infrastructure projects and initiatives.
