The Telangana government conducted mock interviews for Civil Services candidates on Tuesday at Singareni Bhavan, Hyderabad. These interviews were held under the supervision of Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari, following the directives of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu.
The mock interviews were part of the Rajiv Gandhi Civils Abhaya Hastham Scheme, which aims to support Civil Services aspirants. Under this scheme, the state government provides financial assistance of ₹1 lakh to candidates who pass the Civil Services Preliminary Exam and an additional ₹1 lakh to those who clear the Mains Exam. This initiative is being implemented with the support of Singareni.
A panel of experts conducted the interviews, including Singareni CMD N. Balram, TRANSCO CMD Krishna Bhaskar, and Kamareddy SP Sindhu Sharma. They asked candidates various questions and later shared useful tips on how to confidently tackle the final Civil Services Personality Test.
The candidates expressed their gratitude to the government for its support, stating that the mock interviews and financial assistance were immensely helpful in their preparation.
