A special camp organized by the students of Palem Agricultural College in Thoodukurthi village, Nagarkurnool, came to an end on Sunday. The camp was part of the National Service Scheme (NSS). The closing ceremony was attended by Kuchukulla Damodar Reddy, the Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) for the united Mahabubnagar district.
During the event, both the villagers and MLC Kuchukulla Damodar Reddy praised the efforts of the students. Throughout the week, the students participated in various service activities, which were well-received by the community. The students also performed on the final day, impressing everyone present.
In his speech, MLC Damodar Reddy encouraged the students to aim for jobs as agricultural officers after completing their studies. He highlighted the importance of farmers, saying, “Farmers are the ones who feed the nation,” and asked everyone to support them in their work.
Damodar Reddy also emphasized the value of serving others, telling the students there is no greater satisfaction than helping people. At the end of the event, Associate Dean Dr. Pushpavathi, along with program officers Dr. Etela Satyanarayana and Dr. Sadhana, thanked MLC Kuchukulla Damodar Reddy and MLA Kuchukulla Rajesh Reddy for their ongoing support of the camp.
