MLC Kavitha Criticizes Congress over Backward Classes Issues

MLC Kavitha has made strong allegations against the Congress party, accusing it of neglecting the Backward Classes (BCs) during its time in power. Speaking to the media, she claimed that the Congress ignored the needs of the BC community and failed to implement the Mandal Commission report, which was meant to address their concerns.

“During the regimes of Nehru, Indira Gandhi, and Rajiv Gandhi, the BCs faced severe injustice,” Kavitha stated. She criticized the Congress for keeping the Mandal Commission report locked away for decades. “If they truly cared about the BCs, why didn’t they implement the report’s recommendations?” she questioned.
