MLC Kasireddy Narayana Reddy has shocked the ruling party BRS by resigning due to his disappointment with the party’s leadership. He sent his resignation letter to the head of BRS on Sunday morning and later met with Congress Party Telangana President Revanth Reddy. Kasireddy, who hails from Palamuru district, is expected to contest in the Assembly election.

Kasireddy had hoped to receive a ticket from the Kalvakurti constituency, but the BRS party did not consider his request. This decision left Kasireddy unhappy and he made the recent decision to leave the party. Following in his footsteps, Kalvakurti ZP Vice Chairman Balaji Singh has also resigned from BRS and announced that he will be joining Congress.
