Congress Government is a Role Model, Says Minister Sridhar Babu
Peddapalli: IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu stated that the Congress government in Telangana is a role model for the country.
Speaking at an Athmeeya Sammelanam in Peddapalli on Monday, he urged graduates from Karimnagar, Medak, Nizamabad, and Adilabad to prioritize voting for Congress candidate V. Narendra Reddy in the upcoming MLC elections on February 27.
Several leaders attended the meeting, including Government Whip Adluri Laxman Kumar, MLC Bhanu Prasad Rao, MLAs Vijaya Ramana Rao and Makkan Singh, as well as Congress MLC candidate Narendra Reddy.
During his speech, Sridhar Babu highlighted the achievements of the state government. He mentioned that the caste census has served as a guiding model for the country. He also criticized opposition parties, accusing them of making false claims due to their impatience.
He further pointed out that central ministers in the state have failed to convince the Modi government to implement 42% reservation for BCs through a constitutional amendment.
The minister assured that the Pattipaka reservoir project would be completed and urged people not to have any doubts about it.
On the occasion, Peddapalli MLA Vijayaraman Rao encouraged graduates to vote for the Congress party’s candidate, Alphores Narendra Reddy, in the MLC elections. He emphasized that Narendra Reddy is a local candidate from the joint district and deserves the support of graduates.
The MLA also urged voters not to waste their votes on other candidates. He assured that the Congress party would implement various welfare schemes, including a farmer loan waiver, Rythu Bharosa, free bus travel for women, gas cylinders at Rs. 500, and free electricity for up to 200 units, all aimed at benefiting the poor.
