Mahabubnagar MLA Yennam Srinvias Reddy recently met with journalists from the district to discuss housing issues. He promised to help eligible journalists get double bedroom houses.
The TUWJ (IJU) journalists’ union members, led by district president Dandu Dattendra, presented a list of journalists who did not receive double bedroom houses under the previous government. They claimed that the previous government had shown favoritism in allocating houses.
In response, the MLA assured the journalists that the Congress government would not make the same mistakes. He explained that guidelines had been established to ensure that deserving journalists would receive housing benefits.
The MLA emphasized the importance of unity among journalists, regardless of union affiliation. He encouraged them to work together for the benefit of all journalists and to advocate for their rights under the housing scheme.
The MLA reiterated that the Congress government would follow democratic principles and consult with stakeholders before making decisions. He urged journalists to cooperate and ensure that housing benefits were distributed fairly.
