Shadnagar: MLA Veerlapalli Shankar has called on RTC Regional Manager (RM) Santosh Kumar to ensure that RTC buses pass through the Shadnagar bus stand, making it easier for passengers to travel.

The MLA held a meeting with the RTC RM and staff at his camp office in Shadnagar on Wednesday. During the discussion, he raised concerns about most RTC buses skipping the bus stand and taking the bypass route instead. This, he said, creates significant challenges for passengers.

Veerlapalli Shankar emphasized that many residents of Shadnagar rely on buses to travel to places like Hyderabad for work and other purposes. The current practice of buses avoiding the town and using the bypass makes it difficult for passengers to return to Shadnagar.

He urged Santosh Kumar to take immediate steps to address the issue by ensuring that buses follow a route through the Shadnagar bus stand. This, he added, would greatly ease the travel experience for local residents.
