    Khanapur: MLA Vedma Bojju Patel has urged farmers to sell their crops at government-approved purchase centers.

    On Thursday, paddy procurement centers managed by IKP were opened in the villages of Kothaguda (check post) and Dantanapally in Utnoor mandal. Bojju Patel emphasized that the state government is committed to the welfare of farmers.

    He advised farmers not to sell their crops at low prices, but rather ensure they receive the support price set by the government. He also warned them not to fall for brokers who might try to deceive them.

    The MLA further suggested that officials should regularly monitor the buyers’ centers to ensure fair practices.
