Wanaparthy MLA Counters KTR’s Challenge, Criticizes BRS Rule
Wanaparthy MLA Thudi Megha Reddy has responded strongly to BRS leader KT Rama Rao (KTR)’s recent challenge to Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy. KTR had dared the CM to resign and contest again. In response, Megha Reddy challenged KTR, his father K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), and his brother-in-law Harish Rao to step down and recontest as well. He claimed they would not only lose but also forfeit their deposits.
Speaking at a public event on Saturday, Megha Reddy criticized the BRS government’s decade-long rule. He accused them of pushing Telangana into financial trouble and alleged that after losing power, BRS leaders were misleading villagers with false claims. He urged people to ignore their propaganda and called on Congress workers to secure victory in the upcoming local body elections, from ward members to ZPTC positions.
The MLA also assured that under the Indiramma housing scheme, every eligible person in Telangana would receive a house. Additionally, he promised that the Rythu Bharosa scheme’s financial aid would be extended to every acre of cultivable land in the state.
Megha Reddy made these statements during a distribution program at the Wanaparthy camp office. During the event, cheques for schemes like Kalyana Lakshmi, Shaadi Mubarak, and the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) were handed over to beneficiaries.
