Heavy rains are causing problems in Telangana, with many projects, including the Kadem project, facing dangerous water levels. The heavy rains and floods are leading to the drowning of villages one after another. Warangal, which is one of the largest cities in Telangana, is experiencing flooding, with intersections turning into reservoirs and main roads becoming canals.

The torrential downpours have caused rivers to overflow, resulting in the complete submergence of low-lying areas. This has brought vehicular traffic to a standstill as roads are flooded. In the Warangal area, many bridges have been submerged due to the continuous heavy rainfall.
