Karimnagar MLA Voditala Satish Kumar criticized TPCC chief Revanth Reddy for suggesting that agriculture only needs three hours of electricity instead of 24 hours. Satish Kumar expressed his belief that this statement reflects the party’s negative stance towards farmers. To express his disagreement, Satish Kumar engaged in a face-to-face meeting with farmers in Raikal village.
During the meeting, Satish Kumar questioned whether Revanth Reddy had actually received complaints from farmers about the lack of 24-hour electricity for agricultural purposes. He also questioned Revanth Reddy’s knowledge about agriculture. Satish Kumar accused the Congress party of attempting to bring darkness back to the state, referring to their previous rule when electricity was scarce, and farmers had to guard their crops at night.
