Choutuppal (Yadadri-Bhongir): Munugodu MLA Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy has warned that the excessive use of plastic could pose a serious danger to human life in the future. On Saturday, he attended the inauguration of a new eco-friendly industry, Ramani Bio Compostica, at the Green Industrial Park in Dandu Malkapur. This industry produces bags made from corn husks. The event was also attended by MLA Arakepudi Gandhi, TGIC Chairman Nirmala Jaggareddy, and other officials.
While speaking at the event, MLA Rajgopal Reddy stressed the harmful effects of plastic, which is used by people in their everyday lives. He noted that the widespread use of plastic has led to various health problems. Rajgopal emphasized that while financial wealth might not always be passed on to future generations, it is crucial to leave them with a clean and healthy environment.
Rajgopal also mentioned the severe pollution of the Musi River, caused by chemical waste from pharmaceutical companies. However, he praised the efforts to set up industries in Dandu Malkapur that do not harm the environment.
During the event, several leaders called on the public to reduce their use of plastic and switch to eco-friendly alternatives.
The inauguration was attended by a number of prominent figures, including TIF State President K. Sudheer Reddy, KOVI National President Lalitha, industry representatives Dr. Prasad and Ramani, Municipal Chairman Venreddy Raju, former ZPTC Chilukuri Prabhakar Reddy, and Block Congress President Akula Indrasena Reddy.
