Shadnagar MLA Veerlapalli Shankar expressed concern about the delay in building a 50-bed government hospital. He mentioned that no money has been paid to the contractors yet. The MLA questioned the allocation of funds by the previous government and promised to resolve the issue to speed up the hospital’s completion.
During an unplanned inspection of the construction site in Lingareddyguda, Farooqnagar mandal, Shankar raised concerns about the lack of funds and was surprised to find that no bills had been received except for the original work order.
Shankar spoke to the media and promised to work with the government to secure the necessary funding for the project. He stressed the importance of taking immediate action to ensure the hospital is completed on time, as it is crucial for the local population.
The MLA also expressed concern for the locals, cautioning against exploitation through private healthcare. He assured the public that all essential medical services will be provided at the government hospital.
