Hanamkonda: Hard work and determination can lead to great success and bring pride to one’s hometown and family, said Vardhannapet MLA KR Nagaraju. He shared these encouraging words while blessing young boxer Chandan, who was selected for the National Boxing Championship.
Chandan, a resident of Enamamula Sundarayya Nagar in the 14th Division, visited the MLA at his residence on Wednesday to pay her respects. She recently achieved a remarkable milestone by winning a gold medal in the Under-19 Boxing Competition organized by the School Games Federation of Telangana State. This victory secured her a spot on the national team.
During the meeting, MLA Nagaraju celebrated Chandan’s accomplishment by placing the gold medal she earned around her neck. He also honored her with a shawl and offered his heartfelt congratulations on her outstanding achievement.
