    Nagar Kurnool: Congress MLA Dr. Rajesh Reddy announced that the government has opened paddy procurement centers to help farmers and protect them from being exploited by middlemen. He was speaking at the inauguration of a paddy procurement center in Charla Itikyala village, Tadoor Mandal, on Wednesday.

    Dr. Reddy assured the farmers that the government would buy all their paddy at the support price. He encouraged them not to lose hope and to bring their paddy to the procurement centers for sale. He also confirmed that the government would provide a bonus of ₹500 for fine-grade paddy, as promised.

    The MLA issued a strong warning against any dishonest practices in the procurement process, saying that such actions would not be tolerated. Local officials, farmers, public representatives, and Congress party leaders attended the event.
