    Nagarkurnool: MLA Dr. Kuchukulla Rajesh Reddy said that protecting the environment is everyone’s job. He asked people to join tree planting activities. He spoke at the Swachhata-Pachchadana program at Mini Tank Bund as the main guest. Dr. Rajesh Reddy and some women planted trees at the event.

    Dr. Rajesh Reddy talked about how the trees we plant now will give oxygen to future generations. He reminded everyone about the importance of oxygen during tough times like the COVID-19 pandemic. He encouraged people to plant trees during birthdays, weddings, and other celebrations.

    He also talked about keeping our surroundings clean. He said that household waste, if not disposed of properly, can cause health problems. Clean surroundings help stop the spread of insects like mosquitoes and flies, which carry diseases like dengue and malaria. He asked everyone to keep their homes clean and plant trees.

    Dr. Rajesh Reddy also mentioned that the Congress government is working for women’s welfare. He talked about schemes like free travel in RTC buses, LPG cylinders for ₹500, 200 units of free electricity, and farm loan waivers. He mentioned future plans like giving out new ration cards and pensions. He promised to complete pending development projects in Nagar Kurnool town soon and invited people to contact him with any issues.

    Municipal Chairman Kalpana, Commissioner Naresh Babu, Councilors Kotha Srinu, Nizam, Jakka Raju, Sunendra, and others also took part in the event.
