New UGD Pipeline and CCTV Cameras Installed in Kondapur and Hafeezpet
Hyderabad, February 18 – In a significant infrastructure boost, PAC Chairman Arekapudi Gandhi participated in the groundbreaking ceremony for a new underground drainage (UGD) pipeline project in OU Professors’ Colony, Kondapur Division. The project, estimated at ₹75 lakh, aims to improve the drainage system in the area.
New Drainage System for OU Professors’ Colony
The PAC Chairman, along with Corporator Hameed Patel and Water Board officials, officially launched the UGD pipeline project, addressing a long-standing demand of residents. The new pipeline is expected to resolve drainage issues and improve sanitation facilities in the locality.
Enhanced Security in Hafeezpet’s Janapriya Nagar
In another development, PAC Chairman Arekapudi Gandhi also inaugurated 32 new CCTV cameras in Janapriya Nagar Phase 1 & 2, Hafeezpet Division. The initiative was taken up following requests from the Janapriya Nagar Association members, with ₹4 lakh funding provided by youth leader Nimmala Dattrinath Goud.
The installation of high-resolution CCTV cameras is expected to enhance security and monitor public spaces, ensuring better safety for residents.
