    A celebration was held in Thudukurthy village to mark Bhagiratha Maharshi Jayanti. The event was organized by Sagara Sangam, with Nagar Kurnool MLA Koochukulla Rajesh Reddy and MLC Koochukulla Damodar Reddy in attendance. They garlanded the statue of Bhagiratha Maharshi and praised his achievements in bringing the Ganga to earth to help millions of living beings.

    MLC Damodar Reddy emphasized the importance of growth in politics, economy, education, and employment. He promised support for the Sagara castes in upcoming local body elections and pledged to assist in building community centers in Tudukurti village and Nagar Kurnool district. Village leaders and Sangha members from various villages also took part in the celebrations.
