    Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao praised the book ‘Mercurial Rise of Telangana’ which showcased the development and welfare programs implemented by the Telangana government. The book was unveiled by Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, Ministers Harish Rao, Gangula Kamalakar, and Vemula Prashanth Reddy at the Secretariat on Monday.

    Speaking on the occasion, CM KCR said that the book, written in Telugu and English, highlights the progress and achievements of Telangana in various sectors. He appreciated the efforts of the government in promoting development and welfare in the state. He urged everyone to read the book and understand the initiatives taken by the government.

    The book was also recommended to be made available in all major airports in the country. CM KCR congratulated Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari for conceptualizing the book and appreciated the craftsmanship of the pen made with filigree art and the clock made with Bidri art, which were presented along with the book by CS Shanti Kumari.

    The book launch event was attended by dignitaries including Members of Parliament, Supreme Court and High Court judges, Governors, Chief Ministers, heads of central government institutions, trade unions, IT companies, IAS, IPS, IRS officers, vice-chancellors of universities, MLAs, MLCs, district collectors, and members of the judiciary. The event was also attended by Commissioner of Information and Public Relations K Ramachandra Reddy, Special Commissioner for Municipal Affairs Korn Ashok Reddy, and other officials.
