    Hyderabad: Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav stated that the government is making elaborate arrangements for the Bonalu festival. Chief Minister KCR emphasized the importance of celebrating festivals grandly for the people. After the formation of Telangana state, Bonalu jathara is being declared as a state festival. The review of the organization and arrangements for the Bonalu festival held in Old City, Hyderabad on July 16 was conducted by Minister Talasani along with officials, local representatives, and public representatives at Salarjung Museum. In this context, the government is making all the necessary arrangements to conduct the Bonalu festival on a grand scale.

    The government has approved a financial aid of Rs. 15 crore for providing economic assistance to various temples. The state of Telangana is providing financial aid to private temples as well. Economic assistance will be provided to the temples in Old City on July 10.
