    Komarambheem Asifabad:
    Minister for Panchayat Raj, Rural Development, Women, and Child Welfare, Dhanasari Anasuya (also known as Seethakka), spoke about the government’s commitment to tribal development. This was during the 84th anniversary celebrations of Komaram Bheem, held at Jodeghat in Kerameri Mandal.

    During her speech at the tribal darbar, the Minister honored Komaram Bheem, a martyr who fought for tribal rights with the slogan ‘Jal-Jangal-Zameen’ (Water, Forest, Land). She also mentioned other important leaders like Ranjhi Gond and Birsa Munda, who played significant roles in securing rights for tribals through laws like the PESA Act and the 1/70 Act.

    The Minister emphasized that the government is working hard to improve education and healthcare in the region. She asked officials and other public representatives to work together for the betterment of the district. Seethakka promised to strengthen the Comprehensive Tribal Development Societies and address tribal concerns by discussing them with the Chief Minister. She also made it clear that violence against marginalized tribal communities would not be tolerated.

    For farmers, the Minister shared plans to support the cultivation of cashew and mango crops. Additionally, she said there are efforts to develop Jodeghat as a tourist destination. MP Nagesh also spoke at the event, pledging to help the Comprehensive Tribal Development Societies and promising to push for central government funds for tribal development. He also assured that he would work on resolving the issue of stalled road projects caused by forest permit problems.

    Asifabad MLA Kova Laxmi reassured the audience that the government is committed to improving the area where Komaram Bheem once fought. She promised advancements in education, healthcare, and infrastructure in 12 villages.

    Other notable attendees at the event included Mancherial MLA Kokkirala Prem Sagar Rao, Khanapur MLA Vedma Bojju, and Sirpur MLA Dr. Palvai Harish Babu. District officials, Comprehensive Tribal Development Society members, tribal leaders like Pendur Mothiram and Madavi Gunavantar Rao, and other community leaders also attended the ceremony.
