Hyderabad: BJP National President JP Nadda expressed his displeasure over Minister Prashanth Reddy’s false allegations against the government of Chief Minister KCR during a public meeting in Nagarkurnool. Nadda warned that when speaking about CM KCR, one should be careful and not make baseless accusations. The state government has already provided detailed information about the funds allocated by the central government for various projects in Telangana, including the new currency notes. However, they are repeatedly making false statements and spreading rumors.
They criticized the alleged irregularities in the construction of double bedroom houses. They questioned the state government for spending only Rs 12 crore for the construction of the houses, while the central government has allocated Rs 1200 crore. They also mentioned that under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), the central government has allocated Rs 2,390 crore for the construction of 1,59,372 houses in urban and rural areas of Telangana, but only Rs 1,201 crore has been released so far. This means that the Telangana government has spent only 10% of the funds provided by the center. They praised the central government and its organizations for the double bedroom housing scheme in Telangana.
They also mentioned various awards and recognitions received by Telangana for its development in areas such as technology and infrastructure.
They criticized the central government for approving only Rs 19 crore out of the requested Rs 121 crore for national highways in Telangana. They also highlighted how toll taxes and cess collected from people are being used for purposes other than road development. They demanded that the ministers apologize to the people for their mistakes and wrong calculations.
They also mentioned the success of the Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme and how it has benefited farmers in Telangana. They stated that since the launch of the scheme, the number of beneficiary farmers has increased from 49 lakh to 70 lakh. They also mentioned that farmers are receiving Rs 10,000 per acre for their crops, which is the highest among all states. Under the Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, the central government has allocated Rs 9 crore for 29 lakh farmers in Telangana so far, while the state government has spent Rs 72 crore for 70 lakh farmers in this season. They emphasized the importance of accurate data in determining the welfare of farmers.
