Telangana Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar has instructed authorities to make sure that the upcoming Bonala festival has great arrangements. All departments have been told to work together to make sure the festival runs smoothly. Minister Ponnam and Minister Konda Surekha reviewed the preparations for the Bonala fair in the twin cities during the Ashada month at MHRD in Jubilee Hills.
During the meeting, Minister Ponnam suggested having health camps with drinking water, mobile toilets, and special ambulances at the temples to keep the devotees safe and comfortable. He also stressed the importance of decorating all the temples with electric lamps for the festive occasion.
Minister Ponnam announced that there will be a special review meeting with temple representatives and the in-charge minister of Rangareddy district, Sridhar Babu. They will also oversee arrangements for Bakrid. A meeting with GHMC officials is scheduled to coordinate with police and other departments to address any issues during the festival. Minister Ponnam Prabhakar’s proactive approach to ensuring a successful Bonala festival is commendable.
