    Hyderabad: Minister Ponnam Prabhakar has addressed the concerns of auto-rickshaw drivers who are unhappy about the free rides for women on state-run buses. He stated that the government is committed to solving the problems faced by auto drivers. The Minister expressed his satisfaction with the progress of the Prajavani program, which was held at Praja Bhavan on Tuesday.

    On Tuesday, a total of 5,126 applications were received, with a significant number coming from unemployed individuals. The Minister assured that their problems will be addressed and resolved.

    The Minister acknowledged that auto drivers are facing financial difficulties due to the free travel for women in buses. He assured them that they are considered part of the community and that their concerns will be addressed fairly. The government will make a decision through a proper procedure. In the meantime, he requested the auto drivers to be patient and wait for the decision to be made.
