    State Housing Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy announced that the Dharani Committee will clear all pending applications on the Dharani portal before the Model Code of Conduct is enforced for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Telangana. This announcement was made during the 13th edition of CREDAI Hyderabad Property Show.

    During the event, Minister Reddy mentioned that a special drive was initiated by the State government to verify and rectify grievances of farmers and landowners. Over 2.45 lakh applications were pending on the Dharani portal from the previous government’s tenure, and the committee aims to resolve these issues before the elections. Once the polls are concluded, the State government plans to revive the Dharani portal.

    Minister Reddy also assured to address challenges faced by the real estate sector in a meeting with CREDAI Hyderabad members and Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy. He emphasized that all permissions for high-rise buildings will be streamlined under one umbrella to simplify the process.

    Acknowledging current disruptions in the registration process for high-rise apartments, Minister Reddy promised that the government would work to resolve these issues promptly. He also affirmed that there would be no new regulations regarding skyscraper construction in Hyderabad, ensuring the city’s skyline will continue to evolve as before.
