Hyderabad: Following the death of a student at a boys’ Gurukula school in Metpally, Jagtial district, Minister for BC Welfare, Ponnam Prabhakar, has taken action. He has instructed officials to ensure that students at all residential institutions receive regular health check-ups and that proper hygiene is maintained.
On Tuesday, Ponnam stressed the importance of keeping state-run residential schools clean and sanitary. He urged officials to take all necessary precautions to prevent the spread of seasonal diseases among students.
In addition, the Minister highlighted the need for students to receive nutritious and healthy food. He asked officials to make sure that health check-ups also focus on the overall growth and well-being of the students.
