Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy held a press conference at the BRSLP office in Hyderabad on Saturday, where he criticized the BJP Telangana chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar for misleading the youth. Reddy demanded that Kumar stage a dharna in Delhi instead of Telangana, as the Central government had failed to deliver on its promise of creating two crore jobs per year. He accused BJP leaders of killing witnesses in the Vyapam scam, and claimed that they were using the issue of unemployment for political gain.
Reddy emphasized that the people of Telangana were not interested in political jobs, and called for Prime Minister Modi’s resignation for failing to create new jobs while removing existing ones. He urged the unemployed to hold the government accountable for its promises before staging protests.
Reddy also defended the Telangana government’s record on job creation, stating that the state had filled vacancies at a higher rate than any other BJP-ruled state. He dismissed accusations made against Minister KTR regarding a paper leak as baseless and motivated by jealousy. He concluded by stating that the era of Prime Minister Modi’s dictatorship was over, and that the people of India were no longer willing to tolerate it.
