From this academic year, a total of 16,320 students have been admitted to 33 BC Gurukul degree colleges. CM KCR was thanked by Minister Ganga Raju for this.
Hyderabad, June 23 (Namaste Telangana): The state government on Friday approved the establishment of 17 new BC Gurukul degree colleges. Classes in these colleges have started from this academic year, benefiting 16,320 students. The newly approved degree colleges will be set up in Jogulamba Gadwal, Narayanpet, Nalgonda, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Kamareddy, Adilabad, Khammam, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Mahabubabad, Hanamkonda, Bhadrachalam, Suryapet, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri districts. With their addition, the total number of BC Gurukul colleges in the state has reached 33.
Among the BC Gurukuls, a total of 263 offer classes from 5th to 10th grade, 16 offer intermediate education and 10 offer degree courses. In total, these colleges provide quality education to 1,82,440 BC students free of cost.
Minister Ganga Raju expressed his gratitude to CM KCR for his dedication to the overall development of BC education. In a statement, he announced that the government has approved the establishment of 17 new degree colleges for BC Gurukuls. CM KCR’s vision has led to an increase in the number of BC Gurukuls from 19 to 327. It is expected that education will bring about significant improvements in the lives of backward classes. In this context, Minister Ganga Raju expressed his special thanks to CM KCR.
