    Hyderabad Tourism Minister Jupalli Krishna Rao has called for the success of the International Kite and Sweet Festival, which will take place in the city from January 13 to 15. Representatives from different countries and states met with the minister at the Secretariat to discuss the festival’s arrangements at the Secunderabad Parade Ground.

    The minister emphasized the importance of providing high-quality hospitality to the guests, both from within the country and abroad. He also instructed officials to ensure that the festival reflects the culture and traditions of Telangana. The representatives were encouraged to provide suggestions and advice to improve the festival in future years.

    Hyderabad is known as a “Mini India,” with people from various states and regions living in the cosmopolitan city. The International Kite and Sweet Festival aims to enhance Hyderabad’s brand image and is expected to attract around 1.5 million visitors. Kite players from 16 countries, as well as players from different states, will participate in the festival.

    The festival will feature a variety of kites in different colors soaring through the sky. Additionally, there will be a food court where people can enjoy 400 types of homemade sweets and Telangana cuisine. Cultural programs will also be part of the festivities. Spectators can enter for free, and everyone is invited to attend.

    Minister Jupalli expressed his plans to expand the International National Kite and Sweet Festival to urban and rural areas in the future. This expansion aims to showcase the culture, traditions, and arts of Telangana on a larger scale.
