Celebrations erupted at the AIMIM headquarters in Darussalam and near the residence of party president Asaduddin Owaisi in Shastripuram after they performed well in the Assembly elections. The party managed to retain all seven of its traditional seats in the elections.
As soon as the poll trends showed that the MIM was gaining, party workers started celebrating the victory by playing marfa drums, displaying party flags, and setting off fireworks.
Hundreds of MIM supporters gathered at the party headquarters in Darussalam to celebrate the victory. They waved green flags and chanted slogans in support of the party chief. Party leaders and workers distributed sweets, and the winning candidates also arrived at the headquarters with their supporters.
This is the fourth time that the party has won in all seven Assembly constituencies, previously achieving this feat in 2009, 2014, and 2018.
Akbaruddin Owaisi, along with his son Dr Nooruddin Owaisi, was warmly welcomed by hundreds of supporters at the party office. They chanted slogans in support of the MIM and Akbar Bhai.
After winning their respective seats, all seven elected MLAs, including Akbaruddin Owaisi, Ahmed Balala, Kausar Mohiuddin, Jaffer Hussain Meraj, Mohammed Majid Hussain, Mohammed Mubeen, and Mir Zulfiqar Ali, visited the party chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi.
