AIMIM Chief MP Asaduddin Owaisi expressed his confidence that K Chandrashekar Rao will win the upcoming Assembly elections in Telangana and serve as Chief Minister for another term. He announced that the AIMIM will also be contesting elections in Rajasthan and will soon declare candidates for both states. Owaisi emphasized the importance of addressing the issues faced by minorities, who still lag behind in terms of social empowerment. He urged citizens to vote for the AIMIM’s candidates and support BRS in constituencies where the party is not contesting.
Owaisi assured that the AIMIM is committed to ensuring a peaceful and fair election in Telangana. He also mentioned that the party has already declared three candidates for the elections in Rajasthan, where they will be contesting for the first time under the leadership of Jameel Khan.
Addressing criticism from Congress about being the B-Team of BJP, Owaisi pointed out that his party had supported Congress in the past, despite the withdrawal of support from left parties. He called such criticism hypocritical and intellectually dishonest.
In addition to discussing the upcoming elections, Owaisi also commented on the Israel-Hamas conflict. He referred to a viral video of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee expressing support for Palestine and highlighted the Oslo Accords between Israel and Palestine. Owaisi criticized the continued blockade of Gaza and described it as an open-air prison.
He concluded by mentioning the recent rocket attacks launched by Hamas on Israel, leading to significant casualties and displacement. The article also includes the schedule for assembly polls in different states announced by the Election Commission.
