Hyderabad: Hyderabad Metro Rail has started a new environmentally friendly shuttle service. They are working with a company called Svida Mobility Pvt Ltd to make this service carbon-neutral, which means it won’t add extra carbon emissions to the environment. This program began on Monday.

Svida is currently running about 150 shuttle buses on 64 different routes. These shuttles connect 15 metro stations, helping over 16,000 passengers travel every day. To make things even easier for passengers, Hyderabad Metro has introduced a new way to book tickets using WhatsApp, in partnership with Billeasy. Svida is also working with TerraBlu Climate Technologies to keep the shuttle service sustainable.

NVS Reddy, the managing director of Hyderabad Metro Rail, highlighted the importance of protecting our planet so that future generations have a good place to live. KVB Reddy, the managing director of L&TMRHL, mentioned that the new WhatsApp booking system will make it easier for metro commuters to find shuttle routes and book their tickets.
