Hyderabad: The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) has announced a 10 percent discount on tickets for metro express bus pass holders who travel on air-conditioned (AC) buses in Greater Hyderabad. This offer covers services like Lahari, Rajdhani, Garuda Plus, e-Garuda, and other AC buses running within Hyderabad and to various locations in Telangana and nearby states.

TGSRTC Managing Director, VC Sajjanar, stated that the 10 percent discount applies to all AC buses, including those operating across Telangana and to neighboring states. The discount will be available until January 31, 2025.

The discount offer also extends to holders of metro deluxe, green metro, and airport pushpak bus passes. TGSRTC aims to make travel more affordable and convenient for the approximately 70,000 metro express pass holders in the city, many of whom frequently travel on weekends. Sajjanar emphasized that the move is designed to help regular commuters enjoy a more economical and comfortable travel experience.

To get the discount, passengers need to make advance bookings through the TGSRTC’s official website, https://www.tgsrtcbus.in/. The corporation has encouraged all eligible bus pass holders to take advantage of the offer before it expires on January 31, 2025.
