Nava Limited, a company based in Paloncha, has given medical equipment to the Primary Health Centre in Yerragunta, which is located in the Kothagudem district. The equipment was given as part of Nava Limited’s CSR activity. The equipment includes five adjustable beds, one autoclave, a 100-litre capacity drinking water unit, two delivery tables, two wheelchairs, one radiant warmer, one stretcher, a 2 KV capacity inverter and battery, and other accessories. The medical officer at the health centre received the equipment from DMHO Dr JVL Sirisha at a programme on Tuesday.
The company’s donation of equipment will help provide better medical services to patients. Nava Limited has previously set up a central oxygen supply system at Paloncha Government Area Hospital and a central oxygen supply system and drinking water unit at the 100-bedded Mata Shishu Kendra at Ramavaram in Kothagudem. Deputy DM&HO Dr G Srukutha, medical officer Priyanka, Nava Limited’s general manager (production) N Suresh Chandra, chief administrator D Shyamsunder, and others were present at the programme.
