    The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, will be inaugurating the newly-built Parliament building on May 28. This news comes after Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla invited him to do so during a meeting on Thursday. The Lok Sabha Secretariat has stated that the new building can hold 888 people in the Lok Sabha chamber and 300 people in the Rajya Sabha chamber. If both Houses sit together, the Lok Sabha chamber can accommodate up to 1,280 members.

    This new Parliament building is a significant addition to India’s infrastructure and will provide ample space for members of parliament to hold sessions. The building’s construction was completed recently, and it is now ready for use. The new building’s seating capacity is an improvement from the old one, which was smaller and could not accommodate as many members.
