Pathirana’s sister, Vishuka, shared pictures of the meeting on Instagram and expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to meet Dhoni. The young fast-bowler has been making waves in the IPL 2023 season, and has played a crucial role in Chennai’s journey to the final. Dhoni assured Pathirana’s family that they need not worry about him as he is in safe hands under his guidance. Chennai will play the IPL final on Sunday against either Gujarat Titans or Mumbai Indians.
