The Telangana government has started issuing new ration cards, leading to a large number of people applying at Meeseva centers. Since applications can be submitted both online and offline, many people are visiting these centers in person, causing overcrowding and slowing down the servers.

The demand for new ration cards, as well as updates to existing ones, has increased significantly. As a result, Meeseva centers across the state are seeing long queues, with people arriving early in the morning to submit their forms. Officials say this sudden rise in applications is putting pressure on the digital system, making it difficult to process requests smoothly.

Due to the high number of applicants, several Meeseva centers are experiencing server issues, leading to delays. Some centers have even faced temporary outages, frustrating people who have been waiting in line for hours. Many applicants are worried about missing deadlines and are asking for more information on how long the process will take.

To address public concerns, the Civil Supplies Department has clarified that the acceptance of ration card applications is an ongoing process with no fixed deadline. Officials have urged people not to rush and to use online services whenever possible to reduce crowding at Meeseva centers.

Authorities have also advised those who have already submitted their applications through public administration offices or Gram Sabhas not to apply again. Duplicate applications could slow down the verification process. The government is currently reviewing applications received through the Prajapalana program and Gram Sabhas to ensure that only eligible individuals receive ration cards.
